Sgur an Lochain (1004 m).

This was one of 4 munros that I did on the same day, all connected by the same ridge. I could have included a 5th munro but I was running out of time. I got dropped off in the morning on the A87, near the Malagan Bridge and initially walked south along the Mhalagain river on a track that gradually climbed through woods and heather and then a few rock bands until it broke out on the ridge with superb views down Loch Cuaich on the south side of the ridge. Once on the ridge is was just a matter of visiting the summits of Creag nan Damh, Sgur an Lochain, Sgurr an Doire Leathain and Maol Chinn-Dearg before I took a spur leading north back down to the A87 where I had arranged to be collected.
