This is a beautiful 2 day walk in Hampshire along the Itchen river from its source near Kilmeston to the edge of Southhampton where it flows out to sea.

A great place to stay at the end of the first day’s walk is the Westgate Hotel, which is more of a pub with rooms. This is located in the city centre, near the Great Hall and more importantly about 200m from a large multistory car park.
