I parked in the layby on the A85 and walked down to Benmore Farm accessing the winding farm track that takes you to the mountain track that begins just by a gate. This is a very steep ascent but there is a rock staicase for most of the way. Don’t think you are at the top when you reach the rock band. There is another 30 minutes ahead of you, albeit not so steep, to the summit trig point. The descent was brief as you will typically scale the sister munro of Stob Bennein, anout an hour further, before dropping into the valley and down to the farm.
