My Life in the Mountains
My Story
Ever since I was a child I loved the mountains. Family holidays walking followed by a stint working in the Pen-y-Gwyrd hotel, under Mt Snowdon, just before I joined the army. During my service I took every opportunity to be trained in mountain leadership skills and to take soldiers on various mountain expeditions. Not great for my career but it heralded the way to setting up SL Treks. For 10 years I have led trips to Africa, Asia, North America and Europe. Taking my last packaged expedition to Morocco in May 24 I now work on a freelance basis, organising, managing and leading walking trips to wherever my clients wish to go. I also promote a number of Nepalese trips I have done, allowing people to access and deal directly with the guides that made everything happen so well for me.
Walks
I enjoy discussing ideas that my clients may have, whether its for a family group, members of their company or a group of friends - taking them through a diverse array of walks worldwide, each crafted from knowledge obtained from years of adventuring.
